GENERAL MILLS
Branding & Marketing Campaign
Work for General Mills K-12 Foodservice includes rebranding the channel and a broad marketing campaign that targets every step of the buyer journey. Overhauling their old existing brand which lacked clear messaging and suffered from cluttered and unsophisticated visuals, our creative team revamped the K-12 Foodservice brand to be more sophisticated, clean, trustworthy, and personable. It needed to speak to Cafeteria operators directly on how General Mills products helped meet her needs in menu planning for students while meeting regulations. The result influenced a successful campaign that far and above stands out from the competition.

Done while at Schermer.
Problem: K-12 Foodservice operators need simple and easy to reference resources for menu planning that students like and meet regulations.
Solution: A sleek, professional, vibrant, and direct campaign informing Cafeteria Operators how to serve General Mills items for student menus that aren't just tasty, but meet changing government regulations. Also, by providing more information on inspiring ideas for school menus, the campaign provides resources on fresh ideas for existing items.
I designed original patterns and iconography to support the brand messaging of a trusted partner. They are sophisticated yet friendly.
